I also watch a lot of TV apart from movies so every now and then there might pop up a quick season review of a show I like. Penny Dreadful is a gothic horror/drama set in the Victorian era of London. It follows some interesting characters taken from different classical stories like Frankenstein and Dorian Gray and mix it all together. They succeded to bring a style that brings an erie feeling to the show in its eight episodes. Most to look forward to is Eva Green and her performance, she steals the whole stage with her acting and its a marvel to behold. If you like horror or even fantasy I can easily recommend this. From the looks of it the show will have a second season due to the success.
